Re: [lojban-beginners] Using "ko'a" when not specified by goi? Or maybe "da"?

Why not just:

{le (va) nanmi cu citka lo plise}
or
{ta poi nanmi cu citka lo plise}
or maybe
{le nanmi pe la'edo'i cu citka lo plise}
?

Don't overlook the power of {zo'e}. {.i zo'e citka lo plise} (or, equivalently and marginally more idiomatically, {.i citka lo plise}) is perfectly fine, and leaves who is eating the apple as someone vague, but either unimportant or obvious from context.
