1. The quick answer is "no". the format i BAI/(or tense) bo means that the entire sentence that follows is what is being tagged. See the CLL chapter 9, section 7

Yes, in the sentence where the mother thinks that Mooli is pretending, I would say that is a case of believing rather than having an opinion:
".i lu go'i doi mulis. li'u se cusku le mamta .iki'ubo ri jinvi le du'u la mulis. selxarkei"
3. If you mean how can we use FA words and SE words to get to those places? By using constructions like "fa xi xa" and "se xi xa". (see chapter 19, section 6)
