 Yes, in the sentence where the mother thinks that Mooli is pretending, I would say that is a case of believing rather than having an opinion:
".i lu go'i doi mulis. li'u se cusku le mamta .iki'ubo ri jinvi le du'u la mulis. selxarkei"

  You might be right, but I think that jinvi  (or possibly sruma) is fitting because she does have a basis for her reasoning (whereas krici definitionally means that there is no rational for the se krici.)  Mooli has presumably pretended before about fantastical things, and what are the odds he is talking about a real tiger?  Nonetheless, if others on this list think krici (or sruma) is more appropriate, please weigh in.)
