"tosmabru" and "slinku'i" are sort of complementary. You have a wordoid A
which begins with CV. You remove the CV and get a wordoid B. B necessarily
begins with a consonant cluster. A and B cannot both be words. If B is a
lujvo and A also looks like a lujvo, A is called a tosmabru. If A is a lujvo
and B looks like a fu'ivla, B is called a slinku'i. And if B is a slinku'i,
you can prepend CVV or V or VV and get a valid fu'ivla (e.g. eskrima,
estrema).
When you're entering words into jbovlaste, it'll tell you if a word is
invalid. Sometimes it's wrong, such as "damskrima" (a badly formed, but
valid, fu'ivla which should be either "dambrskrima" or "eskrima"), but just
for fu'ivla and maybe cmevla.
When you get around to coining fu'ivla, ask me or xorxes. Occasionally we
disagree (e.g. "aierne" doesn't fit his rules, it should be "ai'erne").
