Lujvo are never really based on tanru. Only the x1 of a lujvo may
sometimes appear to be based on the x1 of a tanru made out of the same
component gismu. It doesn't work for any other place than the x1.

 

   I have really no problem with that statement, but the CLL needs to be amended on that point.  It specifically says:

 

There is a close relationship between lujvo and tanru. In fact, lujvo are condensed forms of tanru:
