I think you misunderstood my point, maybe because I communicated 
it inadequately. 

If you are talking about the Communist Party of China, or the political 
ideology of China etc then of course you can name them by using cmevla.

But {guntrusi'o} as defined in jbovlaste is "a" communist ideology.  It can 
be used to describe the ideologies of both China, the old Soviet Union and 
the Shining Path. Although they differ somewhat, they all claimed Marxist-
Leninist roots and goals.  In coming up with a lujvo for that common ideology 
you still have to decide whether to base it on what they claim to be or what 
they are in fact.  I argued for the first because it would avoid historical 
interpretation.
