I am a long time lurker, first time poster. A question:
Is there a difference semantically between omitting the first sumti of
a brivla or omitting others?
The way I currently understand it, omitting the first sumti implies
there is no specific sumti referred to but omitting others can be
interpreted as refering to a context-implied sumti.
An example. "la sam cu pendo .i gerku: means in English "Sam is my
friend. There is a dog".
Am I crazy? I do hope "Sam is my friend. He/She is a dog" is a more
correct interpretation.
Also, please correct my shitty Lojban!
Thanks!
