Yes -- {se} swaps place structures, not tanru components.
{le fanva barda} would be something like "The translating big thing" while
{le barda se fanva} would be something like "The big translated text".
Remember also that (unless I'm mistaken) a tanru has the place structure of
its last component, so a {fanva barda} is a kind of {barda} but a {barda se
fanva} is a kind of {se fanva}.
