[lojban-beginners] Re: Newbie Intro

Wow, this is officially more than awesome. A lojban podcast!
As for your questions:
I think the podcast should have multiple sections. One strictly in lojban, one in English about lojban, and maybe a "Tips for Beginners" section.
The opening theme music? Heck, let's find a musically inclined lojbanist to write a short theme. Or if nothing else, a musician and a lojbanist seperately. I'd say I'd like to try my hand at it, but although I could do the music, my lojban is still awful.
Readings from translations into lojban and original lojban compositions both would be awesome.
What would make me subscribe? The chance to hear lojban spoken! I don't think there's another lojbanist within a couple hundred miles of where I live, and none of my friends will touch another natural language, let alone something as 'impractical' as a conlang.

The first episode of the jbocradi podcast will not be tonight. I've put things in motion but I intend to prepare the transcript well. I'll now start accepting e-mails at matt.mattarn@gmail.com, to be read on the show. Who else is interested in listening to such a podcast? Are there skills you would like to bring to the production of it? Please express your opinions about what kind of content you want it to have.
Should it be strictly spoken in Lojban?
Or mostly English?
Or repeating every statement in both languages? Or something in between?
Any suggestions for the opening theme music?
Would you like beginner lessons?
Would you like world news headlines in Lojban?
Would you like to hear the adventures of a xenoarcheologist exploring the advanced language inscribed on the walls of a subaquatic deathtrap built by an extinct alien civilization, which turns out to be Lojban?
Would you like readings from Alice in Wonderland, The Prophet, or other texts?
What would get you to subscribe?

Sorry about the blank email. (although gmail people won't even notice.)

So we can look forward to your first podcast tonight?

I've even cooked up a logo for you:

Oh wow. I've wanted to podcast for a long time but I figured I blog about so many different topics-- 3D chess, Lojban, church-state-separation, SF conventions, open source software-- that I couldn't get an audience for such a spread of interests. But if I just do a participatory Lojban-based podcast that would be great!
I'm extremely excited!
