Why don't I try to put something together, and we can see if
you and others like it. Others can do the same if they wish.

Back up! This conversation began after I last checked my e-mail, and in that short time has gone very very far. As I have said in the past, I do very professional graphic design and have been waiting for opportunities to use them for Lojban materials. A cover would be easy, and I would make it look extremely attractive. If you'd like the whole dictionary to be re-designed, it would take a very long time to reformat all the text, so that depends on how long we are willing to wait, and whether we are willing to settle for the existing PDF when I am willing to provide a much more attractive alternative. Rather than use lex or tex or other things to make the typographical changes Robin refers to, I can set up styles in Abobe InDesign to do them. Please let me know of any preferences you might have.
