[lojban-beginners] Re: Printed Materials

I apologize for taking so long after I had said how much I wanted
to illustrate the cover of the Lojban dictionary. I have been putting
together an illustration in a 3-D program. It depicts a perspective
view of a surface on which the earth has been printed in an
icosahedron projection. On every triangular section there is a socket,
and cords are plugged into the sockets on the English speaking areas
of the world.
However, I have found something else that might work even better. I
direct you to: http://complexification.net/gallery/
These are artworks generated by computer. Node Garden and Box
Fitting look particularly evocative of Lojban. The artist sells prints
of extremely nice outputs of his programs, but since his Java-based
web algorithms generate a new artwork on the fly, maybe he will be
willing to let us use one of these randomly-generated outputs for our
book.
