Of course. It may. But I wanted the rhyme to rhyme. :)

I think that .i naku da zo'u ma'a ca frilyji'e gi'e cautcu da may
be closer to what you want (it is not so that there is an X such that we
easy-live and lack X), but I'm not quite sure that's correct either.
 
It is (well, as far as I can determine...), and it's a good translation.
Only it's not applicable for the song.

I'm not certain it positively asserts that we in fact DO live a life of
ease...
