Actually, {ka'e du'i plipe} is equivalent to {ka'e ku du'i plipe}.
The rules for compound tags are quite weird, but since {ku} is elidable
after a tag, they can usually be ignored.

You could also use {tai}.
Yes, that's what I would use for "so", "thus".
