Anybody with an account on jbovlaste can vote for a word in jbovlaste. To get
an account, email Robin.
Anybody with an account can enter a word. Jbovlaste checks the word for
validity, currently using vlatai, which comes with jbofi'e and calls some
valid words {e.g. damskrima} invalid because of RRC's interpretation of the
word rules.
Words in jbovlaste that aren't in the official gimste, ma'oste, or CLL aren't
official, but people do use them.
The rules for constructing cmevla and fu'ivla, other than well-formedness, are
subjective and sometimes result in variants. Examples:
Tibet is called both {pyd} and {bod}. Both are from the Tibetan spelling
(the "d" is silent) but {pyd} uses the modern pronunciation and {bod} the
ancient. ("Tibet" is from Chinese "tu bod" or the like, where "tu" is an
etymon of {dertu} and {tumla}.)
A manatee is both {trixexu} and {trixexo}. Both are from the genus name
Trichechus; what to do with Latin "-us" is a matter of taste.
I once proposed three words for "sesame" at the same time: {simsimu},
{xonxoli}, and {jerjelino}. All are in jbovlaste for anyone to vote on.
Sometimes I come up with a word, but am not sure of its place structure.
