 Well, aren't they completed?  She isn't eating the porridge any
longer...

The eating was not completed in those cases, she stopped eating
the porridge before the event of her eating the porridge was complete.

{pu citka} could be {pu mo'u citka} or {pu ca'o citka}, but since in this
case it is important and relevant that {mo'u} is not the actual aspect,
I think making the {ca'o} explicit is useful to prevent the {mo'u} reading.
