Re: [lojban-beginners] Adding to Pro-bridi
Go'i and its family is very nebulous and need to be better defined.
But there are some conventions. Tenses in the same selma'o are
considered overridden -- "mi pu klama le zarci" "mi ba go'i" ("I went
to the store", "I will be (going to the store)" (mi ba klama le
zarci). "xu" is always dropped "xu la djan gento" "na go'i" (Is John
Argentinian? John is not Argentinian) na'e is NOT dropped.. that's
part of the selbri. I expect BAI would be not be considered
overwritten unless the very same tag word was used (and perhaps not
even then). Oh wait, you asked about selbri BAI tags.. hmmmm....darn
good question, but I guess I'd have to say "no", but it may depend on
context. Numbered places are generally considered overridden.
