There's nothing about the definition that says that, it's just your
own perception.
{.i djuno tu'a ko'a} and {.i djuno fi ko'a} are practically the same
thing in terms of interpretation, so aside from subtle nuance, I think
it's the same meaning. Use whichever you like.

Pray tell, what type of tea is this that has such a particular
hotness?
