Believe it or not, I've never been among those with a big downer on
MEX. It's quite neatly circumscribed, easy to ignore, and doesn't
interfere with the rest of the language. I class it among the optional
extra bells and whistles. Compare this to the disaster area the gadri
system currently is -- there's no contest.
