Old English (to the extent that it can be said to exist today)
is older (has existed for a longer time) than modern English,
so {tolci'o} would not be wrong, but perhaps the fact that
it is an ancestor of modern English is more interesting than
that it is older.

1. I got {banta'a} from the lujvo list where it is implied to be synonymous with {baupli} and {tavla fo}. Anyway I like Pierre's reformulation (one I had considered myself) and will fix the other usage as well (if I can find the master document).
2. The problem with {dzena glibau} is: How to distinguish between OE, Middle English, & Early Modern English? {dzena} describes all three. Perhaps it's best to add {dzena} into the phrase: {tolci'o dzena glibau}?
