I now regret that I didn't make it clear *who* I've seen making these
claims. Basically a few newbies who aren't that familiar and are
taking the hype a bit too far. I haven't seen the claim made by
*anyone* very familiar with the language. I intended the article as a
bit of a primer on the issues involved, so people who make the claim
can be pointed, in a friendly manner, toward a less superficial
understanding of the uniqueness of Lojban in relation to other
languages.
