.uinaicaiI'm not exactly sure who this flame is directed at, but don't really care to find out at this point. From thread ordering, I assume lojbab.
Anyhow, I've been meaning to take a break from the main mailing list for a while. I need to spend more time on my courses and preparing for midterms, and less time on Lojban. I've been picking up American Sign Language too, the studying of which bites into free time that I used to use for reading this list.
I wanted to wait until this thread died down a little, so it wouldn't look like I was storming out with things left unfinished. I feel like most of the original points have been resolved, so I'm signing off for a while now.
I'm still fully available for recording etc; please just email me at alexjm@umich.edu which should be where this email comes from. I'm still interested in working on Lojbanic projects, just not spending so much time reading the emails from the list. And I need a little less of the stress from them in my life right now.

Stop! You are creating a rift in the community far more dangerous than some harmless experimentation. You useless old fuddy duddy! You do not help the lojban community with your arguing. You say you branched loglan to create lojban, if this is true than you should not discourage change at all. Now, stop being a disrespectful old prune that thinks that it is fine to discurage one of the few of us that regularly writes more than 3 sentences of lojban.
