We should change the grammar from:

  number = PA [PA | lerfu-word] ... 
  lerfu-string = lerfu-word [PA | lerfu-word] ... 

to:

  number = PA ... 
  lerfu-string = lerfu-word ... 

Adding numbers to lerfu strings would remain relatively easy
using {PA bu}. Letters as digits don't make much sense anyway.
They are certainly not worth the trouble in boi's that they 
cost us.
