Isn't the point of this project to *get* them documented? I know that some of these, at least, are on a wiki page, I don't see any problem from putting the full list on that page. And once the list is complete, anyone new jbopre that ask "What's the Lojban word for [insert language here] will be pointed to aforementioned wiki page.
Yes, (one of) the point(s) is to get them documented. I guess I should rephrase my question:
For people who have been using the names of languages in various contexts, have you included these names on the wiki_, or are you just using them privately?
Ah, I see what you mean. I would imagine that what work has been documented is most likely somewhere on the wiki, and possibly in jbovlaste, those being the two places anything dealing with Lojban would turn up- the former because pretty much anything anyone cares about in Lojban being on the wiki, the latter because, well, it's *the* online repository of Lojban words, official, experimental, or otherwise.
As to precisely where, I don't know, but I've no doubt that searching either would be a profitable enterprise.
What I don't want to happen is that, in 2 years, this project comes to some conclusion and we all agree on a naming system that everyone is happy with and represents all of the languages of the world and someone jumps up and says, "Hey, but I've been using XYZ forever for ABC language!!" It would be nice to know what is out there, now, and where what is out there is*.
