  ISTM that if you spent 18 hours making hand corrections to a
document in order to be able to index it, it would have taken you less
time than that to hand index it.  But maybe I simply don't understand
the task you set out to (and successfully)  accomplished.  Wouldn't be
the first time.

  Unfortunately, don't really have time today to take a look -- I have
to do laundry, drive my kid back to college, return library books,
then get ready to go out with my wife for our once-every decade movie
night...
