I though I would get replies in my email but I had not configured this
Google service to do so. That's why I did not thank you before...
THANK YOU very much for your replies. I learned a lot on Lojban logics
for doing lujvos from your comments. I thought I could describe
Colombia as the "most Northern" country because 1. it is the one with
the highest Northern latitude in South America and 2. it is the one
immediately before Central America (and America is sort of a line of
countries)... but it is clear this did not work at all.
Very good guess from Craig, thank you and you are right, Alan.
.u'i .i funny description of U.S. from Jonathan but I'm not sure how
much time this description will fit...
Coming back to the issue of finding a Lojbanic name for my country: it
is really difficult to find a neutral, non-biased characteristic,
since it is a mix of five contrasting regions (Pacific, Caribbean,
Andean, Amazonian and Eastern flat-lands). Probably we are well know
because of coffee and another addictive substance, but I wouldn't like
at all use these for naming my country... beyond that, I can't find
any description that fits us... so... the best option seems to be
using a cneme ... la kolombias, maybe?? but then... how to express the
nationality?
