Two ways come to mind:

1. Use it as a name; "la preti". This is straightforward but you have to say things like "la preti cu preti fi mi" because it's always a sumti.

2. Construct a lujvo of {preti} and the assignable word {broda}, i.e. {reibroda}; then assign it and/or explain it at the beginning of your text: "reibroda fi mi", "reibroda cei preti be fi mi".
