If "pimu lo plise" means "one in every two apples", then "pa lo plise" should 
mean "every apple". I think "lo pimu plise" is "a half apple" and "pimu lo 
plise" is "half an apple"; not much distinction, but it does make a 
difference when the number is an integer greater than 1.

As I understand it, "lo'e plise" means an apple that is a representative or 
average of all apples, so "lo'e re plise" means an average or representative 
pair of apples (not a pear of apples, of course). I'd say "pirererere loi 
plise" or "rerepirerece'i loi plise", but it's probably really "re lo'e so 
plise" before someone rounded it off.
