Well, sorta.  A maximal bunch is a bunch (L-set, plurality) in a single domain 
of discourse that contains all the relevant objects (the current ones almost 
always, the past ones often. the possible ones occasionally -- probably only the 
possible ones from proximal worlds).

In Montague's program, an intension is just the function that maps
world-time indexes to extensions.  So for a one-place predicate like
{nanmu}, the intension expressed by {lo nanmu} gives you a set of
mundane {nanmu}s at each word-time index.  You get the extension that
you want by specifying or glorking the world and time.  Is this
something like what you have in mind when you say "maximal bunches"?
