[lojban] The di'u-series

A topic of interest came up in #lojban today with regards to the di'u-series. Are it's referents unique instances of an event of saying the quotation, or do textually identical quotations have the same value when referred by a di'u.

Also, if ko'e were said by fo'a rather than fo'e, would it make any difference?
