For me, FAhA and BAI are both prepositions, things you can put
(-position) before (pre-) another constituent to combine with it. Also
I don't think BAI can be entirely excluded from "tense words": "fa'e",
"di'o"... don't seem less tense-ish than "fa'a", "pa'o"... .

Many FAhA use the x2 of some brivla, for which BAI require "se". One
apparent reason for having such a preposition class in addition to BAI
is so that we don't have to repeat "se" for certain directional
expressions.
