It has to say nontrivial things about both "happy" and "unhappy"
because there exist pragmatic uses of the words "happy" and "unhappy"
in which "unhappy" is not strictly "un" applied to "happy".

(At least this is the case in french, "heureux" is not the perfect
opposite of "malheureux", because "une malheureuse idée" (an unhappy
idea) is an idea that was not found according to logic).

So this pragmatic complexity of use prevents a natlang dictionary to
renounce to the definition of compound words.

The more logical a language is, the less likely it is to define
compound words...
