This question came up when we tried to distinguish between "I hate that you fight" and "I hate when you fight", which were questions posed by gleki. One interpretation of the "that" version was {mi xebni lo nu do ta'e damba}. The "when" version was similar but with a "time-local" TAhE, "I hate the time-local events of you fighting". If {pa roi} does the latter thing above, then {mi xebni lo [so'o] nu do pa roi damba} is a translation of this interpretation of the "when" version. Otherwise I think there is a TAhE to be proposed here.

I suggest "mi xebni ro nu do damba" for the second one. The "pa roi" version I think gives the wrong impression, it suggests you hate events involving single fights, but you might be ok with events in which multiple fights are involved. As in "I hate it when you fight just once, I like it when you fight again and again and again".
