But "parasite"  means "(biology) A (generally undesirable) living organism that exists by stealing the resources produced/collected by another living organism."

I consider the possibility that you might argue if this definition is correct.


Although I can
think of a parasite (hemiparasite, actually) which doesn't fit that definition:
sandalwood pulls sap from the roots of its neighbors, but does not live in
them.
