I would read "klagau" as "x1 sends x2 to x3 ..." rather than "takes/brings", since it's missing any indication that x1 is going too.

  I hear you, but that's what benji is for.  But when I take/bring someone/something somewhere, yes, it's true that I'm physically present as well, if only for an instant, but that's not the focus.  I'm (possibly) merely the  chaffeur, the mount, the se bevri.  The focus is on the fact that I'm causing something to go.  

    Perhaps I'm being unduly influenced by the Hebrew, where the word bring, הביא hevi , is simply the causative form of  בוא bo, to come.
