Good point!
But it’s not only a practise, it is also part of the official language.
The Reference Grammar explicitly states all points are optional.
Which means the official language has only *almost* audio-visual
iso-morphism.
So either the official language must change to achieve audio-visual
iso-morphism or any claims that Lojban has audio-visual iso-morphism
must be dropped.
