[lojban] Does this account for xorlo?

I'm learning lojban and would  like to work through a work which is in lojban. Before I started, I was wondering, does "lo selfri be la .alis. bei bu'u selmacygu'e" or "Alice in Wonderland" at http://alis.lojban.org/ account for xorlo? If not, should I try a different work, if so, which one? Am I asking the wrong questions? Am I way to concerned about "lo" messing me up?
