In my idiolect of English, [ɚ] is phonemically /əɹ/; there's no difference
between {djyrz} and {djrz} in my English. In my Lojban, however, {yr} is [ər]
or [əɾ], while vocalic {r} is often [ɚ].

I made up a pair of words that differ by a vocalic {r} versus a schwa {y}:
{rirxrxrazdani rirxyxrazdani}. (Hrazdan is a river in Armenia.) In that word I
pronounce {rxrxr} as a simultaneous uvular and alveolar trill with the voice
turned on and off. In {bakrto} though, the {r} is [ɚ].
