Re: [bpfk] BAhE + BU
I don't see why being able to emphasize {bu} would be so ridiculous, but anyway, I'll take what jcowan said about magic words.
So looking back at Riley's original message, this implies that jbofi'e is wrong, the "Nonce connectives"[1] page needs clarification (but the example is fine) and the "lerfu forming cmavo"[2] page is right, in that {ba'e bu} is a letteral. This also agrees with "Magic Words"[3].
I tested the sentence {mi nelci me'o ba'e bu}, and all three parsers accept it, but jbofi'e moves {ba'e} to before {me'o}, which seems wrong.
And the language in "Nonce connectives" should definitely be unified -- either we say {ba'e} and {za'e} both "bind" with the following word, or neither of them do, plus the definition for {za'e} has points about {sa} and left-to-right magic word resolution that should be in both definitions assuming they are correct.

There's nothing magic about "ba'e", though; it's a regular part of the grammar.
That means it loses to any magic word, just like all other non-magic words.
