A brivla, even if it is identical to the scientific name except for the capital
letter and italics, *is* a common name in Lojban. The common name for the
genus Avena in Spanish is "avena"; likewise the common name for the order
Strepsiptera in Lojban is "strepsiptera".

I was talking about the /source language/ common name, not the Lojban name we derive from it.
