No, between "de" and "cu", because "be da bei de cu brode" is not a
grammatical text. In this case "cu" will force a "toi" before it, like
it forces a "ku" and a "be'o":
lo broda to be da bei de [be'o] [toi] [ku] cu brode [vau]

It leaves me waiting for something else, but it's not as bad as an
elided one in the middle of a text.
