What are the various things that work as a "reference frame"?

I don't know, but the default value would be the Earth. When x2 is a line or a plane then "vertical" in its gravity field (assuming a uniform mass density) would correspond to "perpendicular", so I think it's a reasonable choice of word for "perpendicular".

xorxes: I wouldn't restrict it to lines. A line can be perpendicular to a plane, and also it should be usable with general objects.

If you think sraji works,
then I suggest that it could be used for general objects,
and a different word could be used for lines and planes.

The relationship of two lines or planes forming
four equal angles seems unique.

I'm not sure what the advantage would be of having a separate word, but brivla space is infinite, so it is possible to create words as nuanced as one wants. If people will bother to learn and stick to such fine distinctions is another issue. The same will happen with all geometric words. Can a cookie be cukla, or do we need one word for circle and a separate word for circular object? The gismu list is not very consistent here (as usual). For example "bolci" has a place for its material, so apparently it excludes the abstract sphere.
