"ei mi penmi da" wasn't true. The meeting was scheduled from 18 to 22 so that
people going there from work could get there late.

I normally say a date as "le <namcu> moi be le <masti>". If the date is said
in numbers and includes the year, the only time it can be mistaken for a time
is before the year 24, which can be remedied by saying "nono" at the
beginning of the year. If it's just month and day, all valid dates are also
valid times.
Another option is to use the 12-hour clock: "li <pa .. pare> pe lo
cerni/donri/vanci/nicte".
