{pe'u} is a vocative, so it will absorb the {ko}. You could just say:
{pe'u patfu ko catlu ...}
But {ni'a le mi ckana} would seem to say that the event of looking
will occur under the bed. The father doesn't really need to go under
the bed to look there. I'm not sure about {se ga'a} either. I would
suggest something like:
{pe'u patfu ko cipcta lo cnita be le mi ckana lo ka lo pacycrida cu zvati}
Or shorter: {pe'u patfu ko cipcta le ckana cnita tu'a lo pacycrida}
Where: cipcta = "x1 examines/checks x2 for property x3"
