[lojban-beginners] Question of logic?

Hello all,

I'm afraid I'm still too inexperienced to write in lojban so my
questions remain in english for the time being (and would be grateful
if answers could be provided in the same).

I'm referring to the Lojban Lessons, Lesson 2 "Take your places...":

bajra x1 runs on surface x2 using limbs x3 with gait x4

Now, I understand that 'running' has the implicit meaning of movement
using limbs etc.

Isn't a precision of gait (x4) redundant since 'running' is in and of
itself a gait?

How would one correctly use x3? By mentioning the number of limbs?
Which limbs? (running on one's hands instead of feet or something?)

I also presume that bajra is a very specific word, and that there
would be an equivalent for, say, water running down a surface of x2
material or something... is this belief 'close' to being correct?

Much thanks,

mu'o mi'e tomys.
