If you're not actually making a logical conjunction, just say {i}.

{i ki'unai}, when connecting two sentences, needs {bo}, else {ki'u} is a
preposition whose object is {piro la barsum}.
{rursegunta} is a fu'ivla. Do you think {rurselgunta} or {se rurgunta} is
better?
