Because it lets you express two meanings simultaneously:

	"Take care of yourself"
	"Be taken care of by yourself"

Indeed: you could say "ko kurci do" (or "ko do kurci" or "doi ko do do kurci" or whatever) but "ko ko kurci" is kind of cute.

Lojban is like Perl in that respect: su'o re lo tadji ka'e xanri
