You can still cusku something just to yourself though. A better
example of pure bacru might be some linguistic sound without any
meaning, like "ba be bi bo bu".

Right. I would say the relationship between them is something like:

ko'a bacru ko'e = ko'a cusku ko'e zi'o lo voksa
