This will be discussed at some length in the foreword, as I said (while you weren't looking).

Even so, the conventions used should make sense, be consistent, and do justice to the reader. (People who are happy with the "wall of words" needn't repeat that they don't see a point to this, since that point has been made quite clearly. Since a minority of users is interested in this project, my comment is evidently for them.)
