For what it's worth, my Finnish dictionary doesn't have pronuncations, and my Norwegian and Swedish dictionaries only have pronunciations in the cases where the pronunciation is irregular (and then only of the irregular part of the word).

It comes down to how predictable the pronunciation of the language is, I guess.
