About 5x5km set on a grid with some houses set out a good 5-10 minutes
walking distance from the grid.
Population? About 5-10k. Enough to support a metropolitan-esque town,
but nothing huge.
Matt Arnold and I once were considering, but never followed through on, making "videos" like this on Second Life (machinima, I think it's called), since sets can be manufactured out of nothing there. Let me know if we want to try that.
